  • Hickory Adirondack Chair

I would like to build two Adirondack chairs out of Hickory. The chairs will spend Spring, Summer and some of Fall outside in NE Minnesota. Is Hickory a good wood to use for the chairs or will it not stand up to our weather?? I plan on using an oil finish of exterior polyurethane finish.
