    So I am new at this finishing stuff, I do find myself liking it...:) I have been unable to find any Aniline dye at any woodproduct store's or craft store's for that matter, I ended up winging it with RITZ cloths dye. It worked, then for pigment i found some oil based artist paint that i thinned with paint thinner. my peice has turned out very

    Im rather new at all this part of the projects, I used to be the maker now im the finisher. I was lucky enough to run into an artical that tells you how to turn the green heartwood into a golden brown and the white sapwood will take on a warmer shade of pale. OXALIC ACID...... it works miracles on poplar's green heartwood. simply mix a saturated
