Thanks for your response. The manufacture made the same recommendation with respect to not filling the areas to be glue. My thinking out loud was that since I would be finish sanding over the paste filler that the glue would adhere. That is why I asked before I proceeded. In reply to your question, by filling the pieces seperately I could more efficently
