to anyone who can help:

Does anyone know of a decent hardwoods supplier in the Pittsburgh area?  There are a few lumber yards nearby, but they sell primarily construction grade woods and there are a few places that sell oak and maybe some cherry, but the selection is bad and the prices aren't that good either.  If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them.

Thanks,

Chris

If you want rough cut you might try Forest County Wood Products.  They are in Tionesta, Pa.  Not exactly Pittsburgh but if you are looking for a good selection of hardwood you will have to drive or order from mail order.  I believe they have a web site and the phone # is 814-755-3317.

Another place i like, but is much futher from you, is Westpenn Hardwoods in Olean NY.  They do mail order.

Good Luck

Don
