I have some nice pieces of wood that i have resawn, old barnwood ,crotch pieces of firewood etc. It has signs of bugs(powder post beetles?) still alive. How do i kill them?  Spray it with Raid then seal it in a garbage bag for a week or so? This is real nice looking wood. Any other ideas?

Check out this website: http://www.powderpostbeetles.com/

It provides an excellent explanation of the life cycle of powder post beetles and how to get rid of them. Since there is a chance of them spreading to other lumber, you best keep the piece of infested wood outside and away from your shop until you get rid of them.
