I built the remote control for my dust collector based on the article printed in the June 2000 magazine (page 116 or so) written by Willis Bowman or Minneapolis, MN. The remote has worked wonderfully for all these years, but now I have switched to a 240 volt collector from the 110 volt collector that the switch is designed to control. Can someone tell me what I need to change to adapt the control to my 240 volt collector?
If you can not get what you have to work, I have had great luck with X10 products (x10.com). Other people I know have had problems. I think it all depends on how good your house wiring is and how many people you share the power company's tranformer with (the one on the pole or in a green box).
