&lt;p&gt;Using your dado set, keep the blades (should be two that look like regular saw blades) to the outsides of the stack. There should be a left and right to these two baldes. The chippers are the blades that have only 2 -4 teeth on them. These are the ones that go in between the blades. You add and subtract the chipper blades to get the desired width you want to make a dado.&lt;/p&gt;
