Problem is I&amp;#39;m not sure what the finish is.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This set is 30-35 years old with a maple finish. The finish on the edges is worn off in places(not gouged or scratched just worn) and the same with the chairs. It appears that it&amp;#39;s an MDF laminated top with a finish applied over the laminate and that is what is worn.( I very well could be wrong on that)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any suggestions?&lt;/p&gt;
