One was finished natural , one darkened (a dramatic effect).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;On both I used Waterlox and I really like the results. It doesn&amp;#39;t yellow and the protection is great and no maintenance like waxing. The varnish in the waterlox will not completely fill the holes left by beetles.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;How should I fill in the holes left by the bugs that left holes (and caused the spalting)?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How should I finish the table to keep the natural look?&lt;/p&gt;
