Hello,

I am looking for some advice regarding a wrap around sitting bench in a kitchen breakfast nook.  I'm looking to make a simple, clean and contempory look.  With a "floating" type bench.  Not your usual storage under the bench type "breakfast nook"

I have been looking at a lot of "L" brackets, wall mounted types.  Does anybody have any expierence with these?  Will they support the wieght of a bench and the use of sitting and dining?  Will they still hold with the drywall inbetween the bracket and the studs.  I would plan on using a 3 1/2 lag bolt through the bracket into the studs.

The kitchen has a lot of stainless steel, so the metal framing of the floating bench would look great with a maple top.

Thanks in advance,

Tim
