I recently purchased the above saw on Craigslist from a private owner. It is new in box, never used. My question is about material clamps. I contacted Milwaukee and was told that they dont make clamps for this saw. Sounds kind of dangerous to me. Does anybody know if another manufacturers clamps will work with my saw? If so, what do you recomend?

I have never used clamps with any miter saw. If you use the correct blade and not force the cut you will not have any problems. The saw will naturally push the wood against the fence. I would like to know how you like that saw? It looks like it has many good features.

Thanks for the help CFBrew2. I have had it for about 3 weeks now and haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I saw it on craigslist, checked out the reviews and there was nothing bad said about this saw. One review actually said it was the cadillac of sliding miter saws. At $425 I couldn't go wrong. Right now I'm in the process of setting up the shop in my basement. It was all my wifes idea and then she complains that I'm taking all her space.... LOL !!!! Hopefully she will get over it when I make her more furniture.
