I'm looking to purchase a portable router table for my Bosch Router.  I'm looking at the Kreg PRS2000.  I'm a relative novice, but can anyone give me some advice--on this table and others?

Customer reviews in retailers websites is a good place to start.

You need to make sure the mounting plate for the table is compatible with your router.  I bought a Bosch MRC23EVSK, and then discovered it would not work with my Craftsman router table.  So I bought a Bosch RA1181 table.  The Bosch table was compatible with the router, and a nice upgrade from the Craftsman.

One other thing I have since learned about the Bosch is that the mounting screws are very odd.  They do not use a phillips or square drive head, it is like a hybrid of a square drive and a slotted screw.  So if you ever lose one or break one, you'll have to order it from Bosch.
