I have made my granddaughter a jewelry box of Ambrosia Maple and Curley Maple any suggestion of how to finish this project.  I'm thinking boiled linseed oil.  I have never used Ambrosia Maple before so I am certainly open to suggestions.

The top is maple, sides and fronts of drawers are cherry . Drawer pulls are of maple.

Thanks for any suggestions,

Hi Terry,

I too have never used Ambrosia Maple. However, boiled linseed oil will work wonderfully in the Curley Maple. Mix the boiled linseed oil with pure gum turpentine at a 50/50 ratio. This thins the linseed oil out so it can penetrate deeper into the wood revealing the natural beauty of the wood. You might want to give it a top coat of Shellac when done.
