I own the Incra unit to make dovetails.  I could not master making them by hand but my first try with my Incra unit was perfect! I've never seen anyone write anything about this unit and according to the instructions you can make multilayered dovetails with it!! For me to accomplish making them was a great suprise as I have a mangled back and my hands shake too much for any hand sawing accruacy. So does anyone else have one that they are using to do any of the fancy stuff with?

You bet!! I have been using mine now for about six months. I have made a number of projects with the Incra router jig and love it.

The way it works and the accurate cuts it makes is up to the user. However, if you follow the instructions to the letter, you can make dovetail joinery in a matter of minutes. My craftsmanship with boxes has doubled and more folks are buying what I make. I have even learned how to make wooden hinges. However, there is a learning curve in making more complex joints. For example having a dovetail joint that looks like flat wood, but turns into a drawer front. That took some doing and preplanning.

I also have the Table Saw Jig as well, it makes the dovetail jig shine even more.
