Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has introduced the
Universal Clamp-It™ Kit, a unique set of tools that ensure square when joining any two pieces of
stock at a 90° angle. Used with the two included universal face clamps, the Clamp-It eliminates
the need for custom clamps, long clamps, or the recruitment of an extra set of hands. With Clamp-It
securing the joint, woodworkers are free to use both hands to finish the assembly process,
guaranteeing square corners.
The exclusive, high-impact, polycarbonate Clamp-It measures 8" x 8" x 1/2" and features two 3/8"
holes to accept the included aluminum universal face clamps. Combining the Clamp-It and universal
fence clamps is ideal for using with any joinery technique, from glued or nailed dado or rabbet joints,
to hand-cut dovetails. In addition, the Clamp-It-clamp combination is very useful for assembling
plywood cabinets to face frames and drawers, framing decks, and installing rails and balusters.
The universal face clamps may also be used independently for a variety of clamping applications
including the creation of sacrificial fences on table saws, bandsaws, chopsaws, and stop blocks, to
name a few.
