TROY, Mich. —
BORAÔ, a product division of Affinity Tool Works, launches its new
Multi-Angle Adjustable Square
tool. Featuring pre-set angle positions that lock securely in place,
the Multi-Angle offers a simple solution for precise angle layouts.
With the ability to provide accuracy for both common and more complex
angles, the Multi-Angle tool is easy to use and appropriate for users
of any skill level, from the do-it-yourselfer to professional
contractors, woodworking specialists and carpenters.
Three
models are available to offer an option for every end-user. Model 408
is constructed of a durable polyethylene composite and has four
pre-set, locking positions: 0°,
45°, 90° and 135°. Models 808 and 812 feature
eight pre-set angles: 0°, 22.5°, 45°, 67.5°,
90°, 112.5°, 135° and 157.5°.
Both the 808 and 812 are constructed of an extruded aluminum body and
include a stainless-steel ruler. Ruler length on the Model 808 is 8
inches, and 12 inches on 812. All three models are designed to be
durable enough to handle normal abuse and still ensure correct angles
each and every time. Precision accuracy is tested to 50,000 completed
folding cycles and maintained within +/- .05 degrees.
Designed
to be a convenient and time-saving alternative to traditional tools,
the Multi-Angle can be utilized as an all-in-one measuring solution.
Typical carpenter squares are quick and allow accurate 90-degree angle
measurement, but don’t offer a method to precisely layout angles.
Protractors and other precise measuring tools are ideal for more
complex angle layouts, but require a high level of skill for accuracy.
The Multi-Angle is user-friendly and ensures even beginners lay out
consistent angles, quickly and precisely, eliminating the need for
multiple tools.
For
further convenience, the Multi-Angle features a collapsible design.
Unlike common square tools and protractors which are difficult to
transport and store, the Multi-Angle is compact and easily fits in a
pocket, tool belt or toolbox.
