Kubb Carrier

I designed this tote box to hold the set of ash and walnut Kubb pieces that are featured in the June/July 2011 issue of American Woodworker.

The box is made from 1/2" Baltic birch plywood, Honduras mahogany and standard 1" corner brackets. It has a plywood bottom. I glued 1/4" thick mahogany strips to the bottom to protect the plywood from moisture and damage. The sides of the "base" are just 1/4" thick strips, too.  Here's a photo of the box from the underside.

If you'd like to see complete plans for this box, please add a comment below. I'm considering publishing it as an article in a future issue of American Woodworker. I think this would be a nice tote for tools, too!
