My growing collection of turning tools was getting out of control. I needed some way to keep them organized and within reach. One Sunday morning while staring at the pipe organ at church, it hit me.Right after services, I went to the home center and bought 10-ft. lengths of 2-in.,1-1/2-in.,1-1/4-in. and 1-in.PVC for $2 to $3 apiece. I also bought a number of end caps for each size pipe (35 to 60 cents each). I screwed each end cap down onto a sheet of plywood. Then I used a miter saw to cut lengths of PVC pipe to hold each tool.Cementing the tubes into the caps is optional. When I get a new tool, I just add another tube. I love it!
