Woodworking in my basement workshop used to leave a layer of dust everywhere until I hung window shades from the ceiling. Now I box myself into a temporary “clean room” before I start making dust. The shades are easy to wipe clean and they’re up and out of the way when not in use. The 6-ft.-wide shades I used cost about $30 each. Shorter widths cost a little less.
