Thank you for visiting the new home of American Woodworker, the best resource for you and your shop.  We've just introduced our videos page, which you are able to view once you've signed in. We invite you to sign up to get access to the community features of the site. We hope this will be the place you turn to for ideas, advice, and resources from both your peers in the woodworking community, as well as our editors.

This site is currently in 'soft-launch' mode. We are still in the process of finishing up some of the features, and over the next few weeks you will see some changes to the site. In the meantime, we encourage you to join the community, read our great features, explore, and add your feedback, questions, and tips. Once you've joined, you may add photos of your own projects  and add your thoughts and ideas. For help, please use the Help link at the top right.

We are looking forward to interacting with you.

Thanks,

The American Woodworker team

This is a brilliant site, especially for me here in South Africa.  We do not have any site coming near your site.  Please keep up this good work.  My wife is constantly complaining because I keep on adding and making projects from your website for my workshop.

We, woodworkers, are no longer alone in our woodworking workshop. Here we can learn, teach, share, see, ask and show. This is the place to progress at any levels of craftmanship. As deon58 said, each and everyone around the world can have access to this huge amount of information of all kinds. Thanks AW.

    Best,

         Serge

Thanks all for the welcome here at American Wood Worker site. I like to build anything with wood and have a wood shop 20ft by 30ft with all types of tools for wood work and I also do finishing . I taught my 17 yr old granddaughter how to work with wood and now she makes signs with the router and signmaker tool she does a great job and learned fast

Thanks again all for the welcome here
